The Riddler

This small winery spares no effort to create the complex bouquet, refreshing acidity and depth of flavor found in the finest of sparkling wines. In a century-old tradition rarely practiced today, the winemakers use barrel fermentation, barrel aging and a full time riddler in the creation of their sparkling wines. After bottling, the wines are hand-stacked and hand-riddled in their historic Diamond Mountain caves which are among the largest caves found in the valley. This location is perfect for a corporate group of up to 100 guests seeking a bubbly and food pairing experience paired perfectly with an educational program that details the lustrous history of the property and the ancient sparkling-making techniques utilized therein.

Spirit of Bacchus

Imagine a candle-lit dinner capped by a stage-set performance or presentation in the enchanting stillness of aging wine caves. This dramatic, vaulted underground chamber is ensconced amidst a vast cave complex strewn with alcoves beset with rare artifacts and sculptures and hewn out of an ancient volcanic knoll in the center of the estate, and is ideal for corporate events of up to 500 guests. Entertain smaller groups of guests in the Harvest Room, with its lofty ceilings, crystal chandeliers, marble fireplace and rare artwork surrounded by views of the vineyards and mountains. The main entrance also makes a dramatic setting for a special evening beneath the stars, where guests may dine at tables set surrounding “Mother Earth,” a striking sculpture by artist Henry Moore. Combined with the cypress tree-lined lawn and courtyard, this area can accommodate upwards of 400 guests. A truly versatile and striking event location, this winery also boasts estate-grown Bordeaux varietals that may be enjoyed while taking advantage of personalized tours of the facility and an extensive art collection.

Carneros of Calistoga

Host your event for up to 120 guests in this winery’s 22,00 square foot wine cave, accented with Italian frosted sconces, dramatic archways, and sophisticated banquettes. Or, entertain guests in the conference room, featuring Hans Schweizer artwork and custom walnut woodwork, for seating up to 16 guests, or 60 for a reception. You can also hold your event on the garden patio among trellised vines, with sweeping views of neighboring vineyards, lush landscape and a bubbling fountain, for seating up to 45 guests. A diverse and luxuriant event locale, this winery also features many Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals to pair with your fine-dining experience.

Castle on the Hill

A simply awe-inspiring sight, this spectacular castle is perched atop a hill overlooking the Napa Valley. Ideal for private or corporate events for up to 350 guests, the castle itself has taken more than a decade to complete, and features a working draw bridge over a dry mote, battlements, towers, an expansive central courtyard and a subterranean labyrinth housing wine-cellars, dungeons and regal tasting room, all set in hand-shaped stone. Adjacent to the tasting room, a “Knight’s Room” is perfect for receptions, replete with stone archways, domed ceilings and hand-painted frescoes. An opulent dining hall also features fresco artwork, as well as a massive stone fireplace, reflecting the allure of the pre-renaissance era from which the castle takes its inspiration. Monet’s Garden

Nestled between cabernet vineyards and mountainous ridges rising 1000 feet above the Napa Valley, this winery is a beautiful setting for your wedding or special event of up to 120 guests. A grand room and wisteria-entwined tea house overlook a rustic bridge and ponds brimming with lily pads, cattails, and koi. Meandering paths through patches of roses, sunflowers, and a sprawling garden reflect the paintings of Monet’s gardens in Giverny and provide a lovely backdrop for any special event. Guests can enjoy a candlelit dinner inside the volcanic-ash wine caves while enjoying the fine Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced by the winery.
